Server

Be part of our GREAT Team! The Taproom Server is primarily responsible for serving guests high quality beer and food crafted on-site. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a busy restaurant or bar setting and willingness to work as a team to do whatever it takes for an exceptional guest experience. Schedule

Part-Time 5-20 hours per week. Availability Friday - Sunday required. The Taproom is open Wednesday - Friday 4-9PM, Saturday 12PM-9PM and Sunday 12-6PM.

Pay and Perks

• Starting at $7.50/hour base plus Tip Pooling Program. Servers generally expect to make between $25-$50/hour, averaging $38/hour

Roles and Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically greet and interact with guests and team members in a friendly and professional manner
• Through frequent and proactive check-ins, effectively serve, sell and promote draft beer, canned beer, merchandise, and food offerings to guests; offer non-proprietary insight on available beers and the brewing process to enrich the guest experience
• Quickly check-in with guests at tables with a notification light turned on, regardless of whether this is an assigned section
• Bus and clear tables during guest table/bar interactions to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
• Accurately enter guest orders in Toast POS and process check transactions
• Request support from Server Assistants or Manager on Duty during busy times as needed
• Follow safe food handling and safe alcohol serving procedures
• Complete opening and closing procedures including cash out, vacuuming and sanitizing Taproom
• Adhere to and assist in sanitation and taproom cleaning procedures
• Secondary Tasks As Needed: Efficiently and effectively complete behind the bar tasks such as cleaning glassware, exterior cleaning of tap-lines, organizing bar and notifying of restocking needs; Run food from kitchen to tables promptly; Effectively utilize the Resy Reservation Management app on an iPad to manage guest seating
• Other responsibilities as defined or requested by manager

Education

High school degree or equivalent preferred

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in a busy restaurant or bar setting preferred
• 3 years related experience
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Team player focused attitude
• Knowledge of safe alcohol serving practices. Must be TIPS certified. Company is willing to pay for certification
• Enthusiasm for beer and the brewing process
• Strong multitasking skills

Physical Requirements

• Lift, push and pull up to 30 pounds
• Work in standing position for majority of working day
