Great American Title Agency is looking for a full-time Accounting/Wire Specialist to join our Accounting team at our Corporate Office.
The Accounting/Wire Specialist will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the escrow accounting unit, handling incoming and outgoing wires with attention to detail, reconciling bank accounts, and monitoring the escrow accounting activities of our various branches to assume compliance with Arizona State Banking regulations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process incoming and outgoing wires from Great American Title’s current wire accounts.
- Receipt wires into respective escrow closing system(s)
- Notify escrow officers of incoming wires.
- Verify outgoing wire amounts to individual supporting HUD’s/Settlement Statements.
- Daily balancing and reconciliation of Great American Title’s current banking accounts.
- Maintenance of escrow accounting reports.
- Monitoring and reporting of voided checks.
- Monitor and report on the Escheat accounts.
- Verify 1099 reports are correct.
- Place stop payments and other banking requests from escrow.
