We are seeking a growth-centric, excellence-focused Content Coordinator, Programming and Development to join our team. Candidate must be able to work onsite at our Texas Headquarters (Arlington, TX 76006).
Job Purpose
The Content Coordinator will work directly with the Original Scripted and Strategy teams to help curate and produce content for Great American Media’s linear channels – Great American Family and Great American Living.
The coordinator will contribute to building the content libraries across these connected yet varied platforms, in accordance with specific brand style and standards. Responsibilities will include the regular review of incoming treatments, scripts, and screeners, often as the “first look.” The coordinator will also assist with certain tracking and marketing/promotional needs and will be responsible for creating and maintaining assets including (though not limited to) newsletter materials, electronic press kit scripts, and social media creative. Close attention to detail and strong understanding of creative brainstorming, and story structure are core requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, a critical reader and writer, collaborative, and a true brand fan.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in reviewing script, screener, and source material submissions (linear and digital).
- Supports department with the compilation and tracking of programming information.
- Supports programming and marketing with the packaging of promotional assets.
- Performs other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant media experience preferred.
- Critical reader, writer, and storyteller.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of AVID, Frame.io, or Writerduet is a plus.
- Relevant media experience preferred.
- Positive attitude and professional presence.
Working Conditions
This position is in an office environment and may require some travel.
