Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Guards premises, property, and/or assigned people against damage, fire, theft, trespassing, and illegal entry. Provides physical security through presence and observation.
- Provides executive transportation/security escorts.
- Provides ground safety and security on behalf of the Flight Department.
- May participate on Executive Protection details.
- Makes routine tours around buildings and grounds, examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure that they are properly secured. Observes and audits to ensure security requirements are met. Reports atypical situations to management.
- Ensures identification of employees or visitors by, monitoring traffic flow, reviewing recording devices, interviewing unfamiliar persons, and validating badges.
- Investigates disturbances and, in the event of an emergency, maintains order and safety of personnel.
- Collects and completes paperwork, including incident logs and daily activity logs.
- Identifies, assesses, and provides recommendations to resolve activities, situations, or conditions that could expose company assets (physical property, intellectual property, executives, employees, etc.) to potential harm.
- May serve as a liaison with police or other emergency response personnel.
- Maintains a valid firearms license and may be required to carry the firearm on duty.
- Serves as a first responder and maintains Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and First Aid Certifications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 0 to 4 years of related experience. Maintains certifications for AED/CPR and First Aid. Maintain a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record. Obtain and maintain a valid Concealed Carry Firearms License. Required to complete annual firearms qualification.
