Our highly trained technicians, known as Grease Monkey Certified Pit Crews, offer customers a service experience that is unrivaled in the automotive industry. They are certified using our proprietary Grease Monkey Technician Training & Certification Program.
The Full Service Oil Change Process
During the Full Service Oil Change, our courtesy technician is responsible for tasks that the customer can most readily see, such as:
- Vacuuming the entire interior
- Cleaning the windows, including mirrors and headlights
- Setting the tire pressure
Additionally, they will:
- Prepare the vehicle for service
- Release the hood and unlock doors
- Roll up windows and remove and secure keys
- Notify a manager if valuables are found
Duties Beyond the Oil Change
In addition to the duties listed above, every crew member is responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties, such as:
- Mopping
- Washing center windows
- Lawn mowing
- Clearing litter, snow, and ice from the site
- Cleaning restrooms
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who possess basic literacy skills, math skills, and the ability to properly use mechanical hand tools. No previous experience or training is required.
Working Conditions
Frequent exposure to outside weather elements, noise, and vehicle exhaust fumes throughout the entire shift is expected.
