Full-Time | Leadership Role | Cannabis Retail

Are you ready to take the next step in your cannabis career? Green Releaf is looking for a dedicated, experienced, and customer-focused Lead Budtender to support day-to-day floor operations, provide mentorship to budtenders, and help deliver a best-in-class retail experience.

About the Role:

As a Lead Budtender, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for both customers and staff. You’ll support store management by overseeing floor operations, assisting with training, and helping ensure that compliance and customer service standards are met consistently. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous cannabis or retail experience who’s ready to grow into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Experience: Deliver excellent customer service and ensure the same from the team. Educate customers on products and provide tailored recommendations.
• Team Support: Act as a floor lead during shifts, offering guidance and support to budtenders.
• Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all customer interactions, sales, and procedures follow Missouri cannabis regulations.
• Training & Onboarding: Assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members to reinforce company standards.
• Inventory Assistance: Help with restocking, product rotation, and reporting discrepancies.
• Sales Floor Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.
• Problem Solving: Address customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when needed.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of cannabis retail or customer service experience preferred
• Previous leadership or floor lead experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and compliance (or willingness to learn)
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 21 with reliable transportation and eligible under Missouri regulations
