Due to Michigan public schools requirements, individuals with theft, violence or drug related backgrounds will not qualify for employment.
When and Where is the job located:
We have the following school custodian opportunity available in Fremont Public Schools.
- Create your own schedule Monday-Friday
- Be available for at least 3 days per week and 3 hours each night
- This position is for on call and open positions throughout Fremont Public Schools
- $14.00 per hour
What does this job look like:
We serve our public school customers by completing the following tasks for general cleaning with additional leadership responsibilities for supervisor positions
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Cleaning restrooms
- Removing trash
- Ensure all exterior doors are secured by completing perimeter door pulls
- Follow up and close out of customer concerns
- Walk building to ensure quality standards are upheld
- Training of new team members
- Lead, manager and hold team accountability
- This is NOT a desk job as you will be on your feet, moving and cleaning alongside your team members
- Travel using your own vehicle with mileage reimbursement and paid drive time throughout the school district
- As well as other cleaning task as assigned
