Summary
We are seeking a passionate Barista to join our team at Graze in Westminster, CO. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional coffee experiences while upholding our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver genuine hospitality to our guests. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with our guests and regulars with warmth and enthusiasm, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns with respect and knowledge.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, and other food & beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Stay knowledgeable with rotating coffees, brewing methods & recipes, and seasonal items to be able to answer guest's questions and make recommendations based on guest's preferences.
- Operate the Square POS system efficiently for order processing and payment handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment, tables, and patio.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Prepare house made syrups and craft seasonal menu items according to established recipes.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies. Promptly restock cold food and beverage items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Address workplace conflict promptly, respectfully, and appropriately.
- Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math tasks during transactions.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a leadership role within the food service industry is preferred.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong sales skills to promote menu items and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques is essential.
- A friendly demeanor with outstanding communication skills to foster positive customer interactions and fun workplace culture.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
