Graystone is searching for Independent Contractors for vehicle inspections nationwide.
Hiring 1099 Independent Contractors Immediately to join our Client’s Vendor Network! (Part-Time)
Set your own hours, Contractor will provide vehicle inspection services at car dealerships in and around Kalispell, MT
A successful candidate will have the following:
- Own your own Basic OBD II Auto Scanner
- iPhone savvy with a data plan (iPhone required)? (we do not support Android or iPads)
- The Independent Contractor must have a Certified mechanic credentials or 2–3 years automotive mechanic experience
- A working iPhone (iOS13 or higher) with a data plan
- Basic OBD II scanner
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and proof of insurance
- Jumpbox

Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to various locations and conduct automotive inspections on physical inventories.
- Utilize cutting-edge proprietary software to complete detailed reports.
- Identify equipment, locate Serial/VIN numbers, and document changes and damages.
- Reconcile missing vehicles and update records promptly.
- Submit completed reports within specified time frames.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable using computers and mobile applications on a smartphone or tablet.
- Flexibility: Available during business hours, Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm.
- Mobility: Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma/GED are a must.
- Automotive expertise: Previous experience as an Auto Inspector, Insurance Adjuster or similar roles is essential.
- Professionalism: Maintain a polished business appearance, demeanor, and excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn: Take online certifications to align with our client's expectations and complete the onboarding process.
Transferable Experience: Autobody tech, Vehicle Inspector, Insurance Adjuster, auto appraiser
Job Opportunity

Compensation: Varies based on numbers of inspections completed, distance traveled and additional services completed
