MAIN FUNCTION
Supervises and directs patient care in a single operating room.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians
- Ability to promote a favorable facility image with physicians, patients, insurance companies, and the general public
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems
REQUIREMENTS
Required
- High school graduate or GED certificate recipient
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- RN with an active license in the appropriate state
- BLS certification
- Evidence of leadership qualities
- Strong ethical and moral character references
- Language skills adequate for high-level written, interpersonal and telephone communication in American English
- ACLS certification within one year of permanent employment
Preferred
- 1. ASC experience
- 2. Computer literacy
