What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Corporate Accountant position at Grayson Search Partners?
This is not your typical accounting role. Our client is a fast-growing packaging organization serving high-profile, nationally recognized clients. With growth comes complexity—and opportunity. This isn’t a “back-office” role. You’ll have high visibility, own critical accounting functions, and gain exposure to leadership while setting yourself up for a potential path into controllership.
What You’ll Do
- Own AR & Billing – Lead invoicing, complex co-packing billing, and ensure accuracy with customer agreements.
- Inventory & Ops Accounting – Reconcile customer-owned inventory and support operational accounting in a high-growth, manufacturing-like environment.
- Month-End Close – Contribute to journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting with precision and accountability.
- Process Improvement – Bring initiative, adaptability, and fresh ideas to help streamline and scale finance operations.
- Cross-Team Impact – Work closely with finance leadership, operations, and external partners to keep the financial engine running.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing, distribution, or a complex operational environment
- Strong background in accounts receivable, billing, inventory reconciliation, and ERP/MRP systems
- Proven ability to communicate clearly, adapt quickly, and thrive under pressure
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- A mindset for process improvement and readiness to take initiative
Why This Role Stands Out
- Growth Trajectory – Join a company scaling rapidly, with clear upward potential into Controller or leadership roles.
- Profit Sharing – Quarterly payouts
- Flexibility – Hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 remote) with room for flexibility based on performance.
- Culture – Small, high-impact team where your work is seen, valued, and rewarded.
Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
