Grayson’s Graphics is a YouTube brand focused on the creative industry. The channel blends creative projects, software reviews, commentary, and storytelling, with a strong emphasis on pacing, humor, and design.
I’m looking for a creative assistant / video editor who’s excited to get in early with a growing creator brand and help build the systems, style, and workflow behind the scenes.
This is a part-time, hybrid role. Most work is remote, with occasional in-person work sessions in the Wilmington or Oak Island / Southport area.
This role is a great fit for someone who is:

You do not need years of experience, but you should have solid fundamentals and good taste.
Responsibilities
- Edit long-form YouTube videos (typically 12 to 20 minutes)
- Assist with pacing, punch-ins, b-roll, and sound design
- Add animations, titles, and graphics
- Help build and maintain a reusable motion graphics and editing system
- Edit short-form content as needed
Optional opportunities to assist with:
- Graphic design
- Photography
- Writing for The Creative Brief
How I Work
- Filming is done on Sony cameras with audio recorded via an SM7dB
- Videos usually include a synced screen recording as a secondary angle
- I work from outlines and clear video structure, but filming is often candid
- I edit in Final Cut (preferred), but not required
