Position Title:  Ticketing Attendant

Position Summary: 

The Ticketing Attendant is responsible for the accurate collection, verification, monitoring, and distribution of haul tickets for truck drivers operating within the asphalt plant. This position supports the efficient flow of materials and ensures proper documentation of all inbound and outbound trucking activity. The role is performed primarily in an outdoor environment and requires regular interaction with driver personnel.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collect, review, and verify haul tickets from incoming and outgoing truck drivers for accuracy and completeness.


• Distribute haul tickets and associated documentation in accordance with operational procedures. 


• Monitor truck movement entering and exiting the facility to ensure compliance with ticketing requirements. 


• Maintain accurate, organized, and timely records of all ticketing activity and daily logs 


• Identify and report discrepancies, missing documentation, or irregularities to supervisory personnel.


• Communicate effectively and professionally with drivers, scale operators, and plant staff. 


• Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and site-specific procedures.


• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work tasks

• Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support organizational goals.


• Represent and promote Grayson Carter and Son in a professional and honest manner

Physical & Work Conditions 

• Work is performed primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.


• Regular exposure to dust, noise, and heavy equipment typical of an asphalt plant environment


• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.


• Position requires extended periods of standing and walking

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Effective verbal communication skills


• Basic mathematical and recordkeeping abilities


• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment


• Attention to detail and organizational skills


• Committed to attending work each day 


• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen


• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis
