Responsibilities
- Climb trees to perform pruning, removals, and other tree care services using proper techniques and equipment.
- Operate and maintain climbing gear, chainsaws, and rigging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assess tree health and stability, identifying potential hazards and recommending solutions.
- Follow industry-standard pruning methods to enhance tree health and appearance.
- Safely remove hazardous branches and trees while minimizing risk to people and property.
- Collaborate with the ground crew to ensure safe and efficient debris removal from job sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate professionally with clients, providing expert advice on tree care and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Experience in tree climbing, pruning, and removals.
- Knowledge of tree species, health assessments, and safety protocols.
- Ability to operate and maintain tree care tools and equipment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- ISA Certification (preferred but not required).
