Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter - Remodeling role located in Anchorage, AK. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing tasks such as framing, finish carpentry, and assembling handrails using both hand tools and power tools. The position involves working on projects that require precise craftsmanship to meet high-quality standards for remodeling homes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in general carpentry, including framing and finish carpentry, drywall, painting, tile, hardwood flooring, concrete, excavation, etc.
- Experience in working closely with homeowners required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project designs
- Attention to detail and a focus on craftsmanship
- Team-oriented mindset and effective communication skills
- Familiarity with remodeling and construction safety practices
- 5 years experience in home remodeling required
- Background check and drug testing required
Pay and Benefits
- Wage: $35 to $50/hour as a direct employee
- 2 weeks paid vacation
- 1 week sick pay
