Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractor Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role provides vital support in patient care, assisting chiropractors with various clinical tasks and ensuring a positive patient experience. Responsibilities
- Greet and check in new and returning patients in a professional, friendly manner
- Complete new patient workups — gather intake paperwork, take and X-rays, and present PowerPoint presentations for the doctor
- Relay important clinical and scheduling information to the doctor accurately and promptly translate for Spanish-speaking patients when needed
- Handle front desk duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting copays, and updating patient demographics
- Discuss financial recommendations and payment options with patients, including health insurance benefits and cash fees
- Maintain organized patient records and ensure all information is entered correctly into the system
- Assist with daily office flow to ensure smooth patient experience
Experience
- Prior experience in healthcare or chiropractic settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical imaging concepts
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to chiropractic care and pain management
- Experience in patient care, including patient observation, physical examinations, and acute pain management techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
