Responsibilities
- Observe and monitor patient conditions during consultations and treatments
- Assist chiropractors with patient examinations, including physical assessments and mobility evaluations
- Support acute pain management techniques and trigger point therapy under supervision
- Prepare treatment rooms and assist with the setup of therapy equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care plans, progress notes, and medical histories
- Educate patients on post-treatment care, exercises, and injury prevention strategies
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Support occupational health initiatives by assisting with ergonomic assessments and injury prevention programs
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Experience with patient observation, assessment, and physical examinations
- Familiarity with pain management techniques including trigger point therapy and acute pain management
- Ability to understand and assist with medical imaging procedures as needed
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment support
- Knowledge of care planning and ability to contribute to individualized treatment plans
