Trash Pickup Driver – Route Worker (Part-Time)
Location: Georgetown / Choppee / Plantersville Area
Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays
Pickup Start Time: Routes begin at 6:00 AM
Route Size: 40 residential customers per week
(35 pickups on Monday, 5 pickups on Wednesday)
Weekly Pay: $90–$120 per week (based on route size)
Position Overview
We’re looking for a reliable Trash Pickup Driver to help run weekly residential trash pickup routes. This is simple, steady work involving picking up bagged trash from customer cans and transporting it to the designated drop-off location.
Responsibilities
- Drive assigned route and pick up bagged trash from customer cans
- Drop off trash cans to new customers when needed
- Follow route list and maintain consistent timing
- Keep a clean, professional attitude while on properties
- Communicate any issues or delays
- Handle light lifting (bagged trash only)
Requirements
- Must have a truck that can pull a trailer
- Trailer is a plus
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have insurance
- Must live in or near Georgetown / Choppee / Plantersville
- Must be comfortable working early mornings (6 AM start)
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Must be reliable — routes must be completed on schedule
- Must have a working phone and be able to take pictures
- Must be able to receive cash payments from customers and confirm them
- Able to lift light trash bags
- Comfortable driving short routes and stopping frequently
