Position Overview:
We are hiring a Rollback or Wrecker Operator to handle light-duty towing and roadside assistance calls. This is a full-time or part-time, hourly position with opportunities for commission and monthly bonuses.
You will be responsible for:
- Responding to dispatch calls for accidents, breakdowns, and roadside assistance
- Towing light-duty vehicles and equipment
- Performing tire changes, jump starts, battery installations, lockouts, and winch-outs
- Completing service documentation and accepting payments
- Delivering courteous, professional service to customers in stressful situations
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time or Part-time role with alternating weekends, nights, and holidays
- Hourly pay commission monthly bonuses
- PTO available after 90 days of continuous employment
- Medical benefits other than Aflac are not offered at this time
Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid NC Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Must pass a drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Clean criminal background (no felony or misdemeanor charges)
- Must be eligible for military base access
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles
- Prior towing or roadside assistance experience is a plus, but not required
- CDL is not required for this position
