As Social Media Manager, you will shape Gray Malin’s voice and presence across platforms, further building upon its highly engaged global community. Your focus will be on connection over conversion creating content that inspires, resonates, and brings people into the brand in a meaningful way.
Lead Social Strategy & Growth
- Own and execute Gray Malin’s organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook
- Focus on growing reach, engagement, and community quality across platforms
- Identify trends, cultural moments, and platform opportunities to expand audience and relevance
Create Compelling, On-Brand Content
- Own the full content creation process: concepting, capturing, filming, editing, and publishing visually engaging content—including short-form video (Reels, TikTok)—alongside writing compelling, on-brand copy
- Translate the Gray Malin aesthetic into content that feels native to each platform
- Partner with creative and marketing teams to bring fresh, innovative ideas to life
Build & Nurture Community
- Actively engage with followers through comments, DMs, and conversations
- Foster a strong sense of community and brand loyalty
- Develop engagement strategies across audience segments including collectors, design professionals, and brand fans
Own the Content Calendar
- Plan and manage a thoughtful, strategic content calendar across platforms
- Balance evergreen storytelling, seasonal moments, and real-time content
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and visual identity
Leverage Insights & Trends
- Monitor performance and engagement metrics to understand what resonates
- Provide weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting with insights and recommendations
- Stay ahead of social trends and adapt quickly to keep the brand culturally relevant
Influencer & Collaboration Strategy
- Identify and build relationships with creators, tastemakers, and brand partners
- Execute collaborations, giveaways, and social activations that expand reach
User-Generated Content & Brand Advocacy
- Source, curate, and amplify user-generated content
- Integrate UGC into storytelling to deepen authenticity and connection
Must-Haves:
- 4–6 years of social media experience, ideally within lifestyle, fashion, art or design
- Proven ability to grow and engage a social audience organically
- Deep understanding of platform nuances (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest)
- Strong creative instincts with a refined visual eye
- Create, capture, edit, and execute visually engaging content across platforms
- Excellent copywriting skills and ability to maintain a consistent brand voice
- Experience using analytics to inform content and engagement strategies
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working with influencers and creative collaborators
- Background in content creation or production (photo/video)
- Familiarity with tools like Dash Hudson, Curalate, or similar platforms
- Comfort using AI tools (e.g., for content ideation, copy refinement, trend analysis, or workflow optimization) while maintaining a strong, original creative point of view
- Passion for travel, interior design, and visual storytelling
