Job Summary/Description:
12 On Your Side, the Gray-owned NBC affiliate in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Digital & Broadcast Sales Assistant to join our team. This role strategically supports the sales staff by monitoring digital and broadcast campaign performance while assisting with the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately input digital and broadcast orders into WideOrbit and other systems.
- Request, update, and monitor creative scheduling for both digital and on-air campaigns.
- Assist with campaign setup, execution, and creative development across digital and broadcast platforms.
- Provide research and actively participate in the onboarding process for digital and broadcast campaigns.
- Monitor pacing, effectiveness, and delivery of digital and broadcast advertising campaigns.
- Act as a liaison with third-party vendors for digital and broadcast products.
- Work closely and maintain proactive communication with the Sales Team, Sales Managers, and the Traffic Department.
- Assist in maintaining and updating sales and marketing materials for digital and broadcast initiatives.
- Support special projects, station events, and promotions as assigned.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Sales and/or Multi-Media Sales Managers.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Highly organized and proactive with strong initiative.
- Capable of prioritizing, multitasking, and performing in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with WideOrbit and CRM tools is preferred.
- Detail-oriented and accuracy-focused.
