Position Summary
Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and detailing fleet vehicles to ensure a safe, professional, and customer-ready appearance. Supports daily fleet readiness through consistent cleaning standards and reporting of vehicle issues.
Main Purpose
To maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all buses while supporting safe operations by identifying and reporting visible damage or maintenance concerns.
Essential Responsibilities
- Clean and detail the interior and exterior of all fleet vehicles.
- Sanitize passenger areas and driver compartments to company standards.
- Maintain onboard restroom cleanliness and supply levels.
- Report visible damage, cleanliness issues, or maintenance concerns.
- Maintain cleaning equipment, supplies, and work areas.
Detailed Duties
- Wash and detail bus exteriors, including windows, wheels, and body surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize interiors, including seats, floors, handrails, and driver areas.
- Empty, clean, disinfect, and restock onboard restrooms.
- Prepare buses for daily service, ensuring they are clean and presentable for guests.
- Identify and report damage, cleanliness issues, or mechanical concerns to Fleet Manager.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management of shortages.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and follow all safety procedures.
- Keep wash areas, equipment, and workspaces clean and organized.
- Assist with additional fleet or yard duties as assigned.
Regular Duties
- Daily: Clean assigned vehicles, restock supplies, and report issues.
- Weekly: Assist with deeper cleaning and organization of work areas and equipment.
Schedule & Requirements
- Full-time or part-time, in-person position reporting to Fleet/Operations Manager.
- Rotating schedule Sunday–Saturday, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- No prior experience required; training provided.
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a physically active environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license preferred; CDL helpful but not required.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
