Position Overview
- Gray Fox Painting is seeking a motivated and outgoing Door-to-Door Sales Representative to generate new business for our residential painting services. This role involves canvassing neighborhoods, engaging homeowners, identifying potential painting projects, and scheduling estimates for our sales or project management team.
- The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, and comfortable initiating conversations with homeowners.
Key Responsibilities
- Canvass residential neighborhoods to identify potential painting opportunities.
- Introduce homeowners to the company and explain our residential painting services (interior, exterior, trim, decks, etc.).
- Generate leads and schedule estimates with homeowners.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and scheduled estimates.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain a positive brand image in the community.
- Follow assigned canvassing routes and territories.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly lead generation targets.
- Provide feedback to management regarding homeowner interest, market conditions, and neighborhood opportunities.
Qualifications
- Previous sales, canvassing, or customer service experience preferred (not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable approaching and speaking with homeowners.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Must have reliable transportation to canvassing areas.
- Ability to walk neighborhoods for extended periods.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in home services sales (painting, roofing, windows, siding, etc.).
- Knowledge of residential painting services and common homeowner needs.
- Ability to quickly build rapport and trust with potential customers.
