Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property management principles, including landlord-tenant law, fair housing regulations, and effective conflict management. This role requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and staff.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Ensure compliance with fair housing regulations and landlord-tenant law.
- Utilize property management software, OneSite, for data entry, record keeping, and customer relationship management.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure company standards are met.
- Handle tenant inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services at competitive rates.
- Implement effective sales strategies to maximize occupancy rates and revenue generation through upselling services.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents, contracts, and tenant records.
- Oversee facilities management to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all tenants.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address repair requests promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administration is required.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to resolve disputes amicably.
- Proficient in administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and office experience.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for maintaining tenant relationships.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms in contracts and agreements.
