JOB SUMMARY:
The Media Producer (Video Producer) is responsible for creating media (video, audio, digital designs, etc.) for both clients and GraVoc and resides under the Creative Technology practice.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Create video productions and digital designs from start to finish which includes pre-production, filming, post-production & delivery
- Post-production duties include video editing, animation & graphic production, audio editing and sometimes finishing processes like color correction.
- Filming duties require Media Producers to have knowledge of camera & lighting techniques and require the ability to shoot both in-studio and on location.
- Digital design duties include logos, presentation decks, marketing materials (including print) and sometimes UI/UX mock-ups
- Additional duties related to this position include assisting on live streaming & A/V event support
- Participate in both internal and external meetings regarding projects. External meetings often require being a main or principal communication point between our team and our customers
- Maintain, archive and back up media assets
- Staying up to date on new technology and techniques and educating the team
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Arts in Film /Communications / Media preferred but not required
- 2 years of related work experience as a media or video producer
- Strong portfolio with work samples showcasing previous productions & designs
- Experience working hands on with a variety of production gear including digital video cameras, DSLRs, microphones and lighting gear.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud including Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop is imperative.
- Knowledge and experience using other nonlinear editing systems and post-production software is recommended
- Ability to use and understand web-based software tools such as Vyond, Canva, Frame.io and more
- Experience with A/V set up and support for events is a preferred but not required
- Experience in digital story telling with strong knowledge of pre- to post-production methodologies
