What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Gravity Staffing, Inc.?
The New York City office of a global investment firm is looking to hire a Human Resources Generalist. This is a hybrid role with 4 days/week in the office and 1 day/week working remote. The ideal candidate will be have experience with either selecting, implementing and integrating HRIS systems, or re-designing onboarding processes. In addition, this person will also be engaged with recruitment efforts, employee termination, payroll and benefits, and company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle of recruitment efforts
- Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration
- Assist with the assessment, implementation and integration of a new HRIS system
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, or related area
- 7 years' of experience working in Human Resources (financial services industry experience strongly preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Greenhouse and Handshake is a plus
- HRIS experience
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
