DealCloud Administrator / Developer (Tier 3 Support)

Overview
We’re looking for an experienced CRM professional to configure, enhance, and support the firm’s Intapp DealCloud platform. This person will be the top-level technical expert for DealCloud, owning complex configuration work and resolving Tier 3 issues that come up from the help desk and business users. DealCloud experience is preferred, but we’re open to strong Salesforce administrators or developers who are motivated to learn DealCloud.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain DealCloud objects, fields, layouts, workflows, dashboards, and reports to support deal, relationship, fundraising, and portfolio processes
- Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point, diagnosing and resolving complex issues with data, configuration, permissions, and integrations
- Gather requirements from deal teams, investor relations, business development, and operations, and translate them into scalable configuration
- Manage user access, security groups, and entitlements
- Support integrations with Outlook, email and calendar capture, Excel, data providers, and other systems through APIs and connectors
- Run data imports, cleanup, deduplication, and quality controls
- Test and deploy releases and enhancements, and document configuration changes
- Work with Intapp support and partners on product issues and roadmap items
- Train power users and create support documentation
Requirements
- 3 years of hands-on CRM configuration experience in one of the following:
- Intapp DealCloud, or
- Salesforce (custom objects, flows, page layouts, permission sets, reports and dashboards), with a strong interest in learning DealCloud
- Proven experience handling Tier 3 or escalated technical support for a CRM platform
- Strong understanding of CRM data modeling, workflows, security, and reporting
- Experience with CRM integrations, including Outlook and email capture, Excel, and APIs
- Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis
- Able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users
- Able to work onsite in Charlotte 3 days a week
Preferred
- Direct Intapp DealCloud configuration experience
- Intapp DealCloud certification, or Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification
- Understanding of private capital, investment banking, or professional services workflows
- Scripting or API experience (Python, PowerShell, or REST)
- Experience migrating from Salesforce or Backstop to DealCloud
