What are the responsibilities and job description for the H.S. Assistant Archery Coach position at GRAVES COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL?
REPORTS TO: Head Coach, Principal
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
1. Coaches individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved.
2. Plans and schedules, with the head coach, a regular program of practice for each student.
3. Assists the head coach in scheduling all intramural and interscholastic contests.
4. Recommends purchase of equipment, supplies, and uniforms as appropriate.
5. Inspects the facility or area to ensure safety conditions in which assigned sport is conducted are appropriate.
6. Helps enforce the established performance criteria for eligibility in interscholastic competition in the assigned sport.
7. Helps enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times and establishes and oversees penalties for breach of such standards by individual pupils.
8. Helps to supervise paraprofessionals when assigned to the coaching staff.
9. Participates in those functions and activities as described in the regular teacher job description.
10. Performs related duties and assumes other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head Coach or Principal.
