What are the responsibilities and job description for the Conservation Technician position at Graves County Conservation District?
The Graves County Conservation District will be taking applications for a three-year Conservation Technician position. Prior experience of surveying and surveying equipment, knowledge of Microsoft Office computer programs, and a degree in Agriculture is preferred. Similar work experience and familiarity with GPS is a plus. Conservation Technician duties include, but are not limited to, providing technical assistance to landowners regarding conservation planning, implementation and follow up visits with landowners, outside work in a lot of different types of weather, and assisting with conservation/agriculture education outreach in Graves County. Salary will be based upon experience, and Vacation, Medical, and Comp Time benefits are offered.
