In our district, the Chief Business Officer is more than just a title—it’s a vital leadership role that ensures our students, teachers, and staff have exactly what they need to thrive. Because we are a close-knit community, we don't want you tucked away in a back office. Instead, you will be the guiding hand across Finance, Human Resources, and Food Services, making you a true pillar of our school’s success. In this role, you will wear several hats to ensure our district stays healthy, fed, and supported. As our CBO, you will lead budget development from the first projections to the final year-end closing, navigating the Standard Account Code System (SACS) with ease and keeping interim reporting crystal clear. Beyond the ledger, you will serve as our HR Director, acting as the primary point of contact for our valued staff by overseeing recruitment, benefits, and general personnel well-being. You will also act as our Food Services Visionary, ensuring our meal programs run efficiently so that every student is well-fed and ready to learn. You won't be doing this alone. You will directly supervise and mentor a dedicated team consisting of a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk a full-time HR/Payroll Clerk, and a full-time Nutritional Services Lead. Together with the Superintendent and two site Principals, you will work to ensure every dollar is working hard for our classrooms. We are looking for someone who enjoys a varied daily schedule and is a supportive manager who leads with kindness and clarity.
