Key Responsibilities
- Apply smooth, even coats using HVLP spray guns to achieve high-quality finishes on wood components.
- Sand, prep, and clean wood panels and parts prior to finishing.
- Perform touch-ups and quality checks to ensure consistency in color and finish.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe spray booth and workspace.
- Mix, apply, and maintain finishes such as lacquer, stains, and oils.
- Conduct basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot spray system issues as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and quality goals.
- 2–4 years of experience in wood finishing, cabinetry, or furniture manufacturing.
- Proficient with HVLP spray equipment and general finishing techniques.
- Solid understanding of sanding, sealing, and applying clear coats.
- Knowledge of lacquer, stains, and finishing oils.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality.
- Familiar with spray booth operations, safety procedures, and PPE use.
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to shift priorities as production needs to change.
- Capable lifting up to 50 lbs as required.
- The role may require standing for extended periods and working with various woodshop machinery and tools.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
