Essential Functions
- Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
- Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Greet all guests promptly, warmly, and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and walk-in guests using OpenTable.
- Follow the steps of service as outlined by the department on a consistent basis.
- Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and explaining daily specials if needed.
- Maintain an organized and clean host stand, lobby, and entrance area at all times.
- Communicate wait times clearly and accurately to guests.
- Monitor dining room flow and seat guests in a balanced manner for server sections.
- Answer the telephone promptly and professionally; assist with guest inquiries and requests.
- Take and manage take-out and room service orders.
- Work closely with the management team and service staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Follow all company, departmental, and health and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform opening, closing, and side duties as assigned by management.
- Promote and maintain a positive and cooperative team environment.
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance in compliance with grooming standards.
