Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide personal care and support to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The CHHA plays a key role in assisting patients with daily living activities while promoting safety, comfort, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Support patients with basic hygiene needs
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to supervising nurse
- Take and record vital signs as directed
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Follow infection control, safety, and care plan instructions
- Document care provided per agency policy
Qualifications
- Active California CHHA certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year experience (home health preferred)
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
