What are the responsibilities and job description for the Café Customer Service Associate position at Grateful Table?
Grateful Table is a small, locally-loved cafe and gift shop known for our welcoming atmosphere, high-quality food, and curated collection of regional goods.
We’re currently adding to our Front of House team—and we’re looking for someone who brings energy, reliability, weekend availability and a smile to every shift. Kitchen knowledge is a big plus!

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with their orders, and shopping needs.
- Always ensure a positive experience.
- Operate the Square POS system efficiently.
- Prepare smoothies, drinks, baked goods, sandwiches according to food handling guidelines.
- Reset and maintain appealing retail space.
- Maintain cleanliness of space from dining room to helping with dishes.
- Great communication with team and owner - team mentality is key!
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service and handling within a fast-paced cafe environment *retail experience a bonus
- Proficiency in using POS systems
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively in a team setting
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
