What are the responsibilities and job description for the Founding Clinical Ops Lead position at Grata Health?
Addiction is the most expensive, most structurally broken problem in American healthcare. Overdoses kill more Americans than car accidents and gun violence combined. Payers are bleeding, patients are dying, and the existing solutions don't work.
We think that's fixable.
We've just raised $4.2M from Tier 1 investors to build the first AI-native clinic in that gap: fast access to treatment and continuous AI-powered support. We've already supported over 20,000 recoveries with our consumer app and are starting to launch our virtual clinic across the US.
We’re now hiring our founding clinical operations lead.
You'll own how the clinic actually runs. That means:
- Recruiting and supporting our providers
- Working with our clinicians to design an exceptional patient experience from first contact through stable treatment
- Working with our engineers to automate anything we do more than twice
- Standing up new states as we expand
The role reports directly to the CEO and sits on the founding team. Significant infrastructure is already in place. This hire will inherit it, break what’s broken, and scale it.
Someone early in their career who wants to go deep on something that matters. A few years of work experience, ideally at a healthtech or care delivery startup where you already had to figure things out without much scaffolding.
What matters to us:
- You work hard because you care
- You find problems and fix them without being asked
- You learn quickly
- You tell people when they're wrong
- $150–200K base, 0.5–1.5% equity
- Full benefits
- In-person in the Mission, SF
- We move fast in hiring. If there's a fit, you'll hear back within 48 hours.
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
