What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse & Inventory Associate position at Grassroots Harvest?
Warehouse & Inventory Associate
Rebel X Brands 321 W Ben White Blvd, Austin, TX 78704 (on-site)
$20.00–$25.00/hr · Full-time
About the role
This is a floor job. You'll be in our Austin warehouse every day, working with inventory, supporting quality checks, and helping us keep our systems accurate as we grow.
We're not hiring this role to run compliance or own our formulas and SKUs end to end, that expertise is being built in-house with our current team. What we need here is someone who's a strong warehouse worker at the core: solid with inventory, comfortable on a computer and quick to pick up new software, detail-obsessed, and willing to adapt and get hands dirty as our process changes. If down the road you want to learn formulation or move deeper into quality, that's a real path here, just not a day-one requirement.
What you'll do
Warehouse and inventory
- Run inventory counts and reconcile raw materials, components, and finished goods
- Track down discrepancies instead of writing them off
- Help keep our inventory and product records accurate in our systems, and get comfortable navigating new software as we roll it out
- Support day-to-day warehouse flow: receiving, organizing, and moving product
Quality support
- Support quality checks on product as it moves through the floor: visual inspections, checking against spec, flagging anything off before it ships
- Help keep basic QC and batch documentation current
- Pitch in wherever the floor needs it that day
What you need
- Experience in warehouse, inventory, or production work
- Comfortable with computers: you can learn new software and systems fast, and a new program doesn't scare you off
- Sharp attention to detail: you notice what others miss
- Willing to adapt, learn new processes, and get hands dirty
- A systems-oriented thinker: you like figuring out how something works and making it run smoother
- Able to work independently and follow through without being chased
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation, within about 30 minutes of our 78704 warehouse: on-site every day
Nice to have, not required
- Food handler experience, or comfort working with food or consumable products
- Interest in eventually learning formulation or blending
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (supplement, cosmetics, hemp, food/beverage)
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm.
Occasional weekend work during peak periods, paid as overtime.
What we offer
- $20–25/hr starting pay based on experience, with annual reviews
- Monthly bonus potential after 90 days
- Paid time off
- Employee discount
- One hour of paid break daily
- Real growth path: direct visibility with leadership and room to expand into quality, formulation, or broader operations
- A small, fast-moving team where your work is visible and your judgment matters
