GrassRoots Functional Medicine is a growing root-cause medical practice serving patients throughout New Hampshire, Vermont, and the greater Upper Valley.

Many of our patients come to us after years of feeling dismissed, being told their labs are normal, or being left without meaningful answers. We built this practice for those patients—and they often drive hours to reach us.

We are growing, and that growth is why this role exists.

The Role

We are looking for a highly capable Head of Operations & Growth to take ownership of how our practice runs and how it grows.

This is a build role, not a maintenance role. You will work directly with the owner and have meaningful influence over the systems, patient experience, team structure, technology, and growth strategy of the practice.

You will be expected to identify what is slowing us down, develop solutions, make decisions, and follow projects through to completion.

What You’ll Own

Operations

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, resolve obstacles, improve workflows, and keep priorities moving forward.

Patient Experience

Own the patient experience from beginning to end. Monitor feedback, identify areas for improvement, and address problems before they negatively affect patients.

Business Performance

Track and interpret key metrics, including reviews, lead conversion, patient retention, revenue trends, and operational performance.

AI, Technology and Systems

Lead the adoption of AI and automation throughout the practice. Oversee the systems supporting operations and marketing, including contractors, vendors, and technology partners.

Team Accountability

Build clear expectations, ownership, communication, and follow-through so that a talented team can perform at its best.

Growth

Identify what is limiting the practice’s growth, develop and test new ideas, and expand the strategies that produce meaningful results.

The AI Requirement

Advanced, practical experience using AI is required.

We are not looking for someone who has simply used ChatGPT occasionally. We want someone who already uses AI to improve workflows, solve problems, automate repetitive work, analyze information, and accomplish in minutes what might otherwise take hours.

You should be comfortable demonstrating specifically how you use AI in your work.

Position Details

• Full-time, on-site position in West Lebanon, New Hampshire
• Four-day workweek, Monday through Thursday
• Remote and hybrid work are not available
• Occasional out-of-state weekend travel, approximately quarterly, for business training
• Competitive compensation based on experience and demonstrated capability
• Performance-based bonus structure tied to growth
