Financial Controller Construction

We are seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to own financial discipline, job cost integrity, payroll processing, accounts payables/ receivable management, and internal financial controls across the organization. MUST HAVE CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE

You will work directly with CFO and Owner to ensure that financial reporting are aligned and accurate.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting and establish monthly close discipline
• Manage the processing of weekly payroll
• Manage structured accounts receivable and payables process
• Participate in weekly production review meetings
• Build and maintain job-level margin visibility
• Provide vendor spend analysis to support cost control
• Support leadership with monthly financial reporting and analysis
• Identify financial risk and escalate appropriately

Qualifications

• 5 years of Controller or senior accounting experience
• Experience in project-based, construction, or operational accounting strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of Chart Of Accounts, job costing and margin analysis
• Experience managing payroll , AP and AR processes
• Proven ability to implement structured processes
• Strong communication skills and comfort operating in a hands-on environment
