Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and efficiently walk them to their exam room
- Collect and record vital signs, patient histories, and current medications with precision and professionalism
- Assist healthcare provider during examinations, procedures, and minor treatments by preparing supplies and ensuring patient comfort
- Conduct initial assessments in a plastic surgery setting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through consultations, procedures, and follow-ups
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate surgical bookings
- Provide patients with detailed pre- and post-operative instructions
- Follow up with patients regarding recovery, satisfaction, and additional needs
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Medical Assistant Duties:
- Prepare exam rooms and assist the surgeon during consultations and minor procedures
- Take patient histories, vital signs, and clinical photographs
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of instruments and equipment
- Assist with post surgical dressings change and post-procedure care as needed
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering
Administrative Support:
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
- Verify patient information and assist with intake forms
- Support front desk operations as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office, preferably in plastic surgery, dermatology, or aesthetics
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal, professional, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Sales or consultation experience in aesthetics is a plus
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time hours (e.g. 30 hours per week. Monday - Thursday, 9:00am - 4:30pm)
