This role is responsible for operating and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure dairy products are packaged efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilites Include
- Follow and comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety policies, and quality assurance standards
- Verify quality control items including product weights, product coding, packaging integrity, and labeling
- Perform assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and sanitizing of printing and packaging equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in required production and quality systems
- Operate print and packaging equipment efficiently to meet production demands, including:
- Quarter-pound and pound print machines
- Continental cup machines
- Seal/Whip cup machines
- Whipper, Chips, and Spreadable packaging machines
- Assist with general plant cleaning and housekeeping to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
- Provide coverage for other positions as needed to support production operations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
