Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- In the absence of the supervisor cover all necessary duties as apply.
- Oversight of all safety, quality, and production.
- Machine/Equipment operation during times of high production demand.
- Provide and maintain a professional work environment.
- Review Daily Production Plan, help execute through the shift, and assist in revisions as needed.
- Provide set goals for machine throughput to maintain efficiency.
- Absence relief for production staff.
- Training and development of new and current employees, expected to speak on training topic once per month, and share input in each employee meeting.
- Daily safety observations and quality monitoring, Assign and ensure follow through on Quality and Safety issues. (IFSA’s, USDA corrections, Internal audit corrections, Etc.)
- Verifying integrity and accuracy of finished product; check products being produced and loading out.
- Enforce all Grassland Safety Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Work Instructions, and Operating Procedures.
