Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized environment while supporting food service staff with bussing, food preparation, and basic kitchen tasks. Your proactive approach will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness are upheld at all times. This position offers an engaging opportunity to develop foundational culinary and hospitality skills within a lively team environment.
Duties
- Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas promptly to maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
- Support food preparation tasks such as ingredient setup, portioning, and basic assembly under supervision.
- Help with catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, storage areas, and dining spaces through regular cleaning routines.
- Handle food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations to ensure quality and safety.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by providing general assistance as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations such as bussing, cleaning, and food preparation is advantageous.
- Experience with banquet or catering events is a plus but not mandatory.
