As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform system diagnostics and make recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
- Provide exceptional customer service, explaining HVAC issues and solutions in clear, easy-to-understand terms.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, customers, and team members.
- Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used, and any recommendations made for future work.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and keep tools and equipment in good condition.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Technical knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to read blueprints and manuals.
- Certification in HVAC (EPA, NATE, etc.) is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying environments (e.g., outdoors, attics, crawl spaces).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with both residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient systems and green technologies.
- Ability to work in high-pressure or emergency situations.
