Our client is an early-stage, venture-backed AgTech startup leveraging genomics, AI, and machine learning to help modernize agriculture. They’re building a category-defining company with a small, high-caliber team tackling meaningful, real-world problems.
They’re looking for an Executive Assistant/Founder's Associate to work directly alongside the CEO as a trusted partner across both business and personal operations. This is much more than a traditional EA role, it’s an opportunity to work side-by-side with a founder and gain firsthand exposure to building and scaling a high-growth startup.
You’ll travel with the CEO, meet customers and investors, solve problems, and help keep the business running smoothly. If your long-term goal is to become a founder, operator, or startup leader, this role offers an exceptional level of ownership and visibility.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with the CEO across business and personal operations.
- Manage calendars, travel, meetings, and communications.
- Coordinate logistics and keep high-priority initiatives moving.
- Support recruiting, board meetings, customer visits, and special projects.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Jump in wherever needed to help the business succeed.

Qualifications
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the Santa Cruz area before your start date.
- Able to travel extensively, including overnight trips or longer.
- Comfortable driving long distances throughout California and Arizona.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Experience supporting executives, founders, startups, consulting, operations, or other fast-paced environments is a plus.
