Aeration Helper – Temporary Seasonal Position

Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
Season: August through October
Work Location: In person
Grass Master is looking for temporary Aeration Helpers to assist our core aeration crews during our busy fall season. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and gaining hands-on experience in the lawn care industry.
We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who can support our crews with aeration services, seeding, tools, equipment, and general job-site needs. Previous lawn maintenance experience is preferred, and truck and maintenance trailer experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with core aeration services on customer lawns
- Spread grass seed as directed
- Support the crew with tools, materials, and equipment
- Help load and unload equipment as needed
- Assist with truck and maintenance trailer setup, organization, and cleanup
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow directions from crew leaders and work as part of a team
- Provide quality service while working on residential and/or commercial properties
Requirements:
- Must be dependable and on time
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Previous lawn maintenance experience preferred
- Truck and maintenance trailer experience preferred
- Must be willing to learn and follow company procedures
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Pay:
$18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience
