Join the Gräs Lawn Snow Response Team for the 2026-2027 Season
Gräs Lawn is seeking experienced and dependable Heavy Machine Operators and Snow Plow Truck Drivers to join our winter operations team. We provide critical snow and ice management services for high-profile commercial properties and residential communities across the Northeast, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Connecticut.
Available Roles
We are filling positions across multiple branches for the upcoming winter season. Operators will be responsible for clearing roadways, parking lots, and loading docks to ensure site safety.
Heavy Machine Operators
Seeking proficient operators for the following equipment:
- Skid Steers / Bobcats
- Backhoes
- Large Front-End Loaders
Snow Plow Drivers
Seeking drivers for:
- Pick-up Trucks equipped with V-Plows or Straight Blades
- Small and Large Dump Trucks
- Salt and De-icing Spreaders
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Previous professional experience in snow removal or heavy equipment operation is a must.
- Driving Record: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for all vehicle operators.
- Availability: Must be available for 24/7 on-call service during snow and ice events throughout the winter season.
- Vetting: All candidates will undergo a vetting process led by our Snow Management team.
- Ability to work independently in challenging winter conditions.
- Must be available for all snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation
Heavy Machine Operator: $55.00- $65.00
Plow Truck Driver: $35.00-$45.00
General Labor (Shovel/Blower): $27.50
Responsibilities
- Operate plow trucks during snow and ice events.
- Clear parking lots, roadways, and other commercial properties safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate with supervisors and follow assigned routes.
- Work safely and represent GRÄS Lawn professionally.
