We are a leading commercial printing and direct mailing provider seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Data & Mailings Operator to manage and process customer data for complex campaigns. This is a critical role that ensures compliance, maximizes postage savings, and supports our Variable Data Printing (VDP) operations.

Core Responsibilities
- Data Cleansing & Preparation: Perform expert-level manipulation, cleansing, and formatting of client mailing lists using Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, deduplication routines) to ensure data integrity.
- Mailing Software Processing: Independently operate specialized mailing software (e.g., BCC Mail Manager, Satori, or comparable systems) to execute all mandatory postal processes, including:
- CASS Certification (address validation).
- NCOA (National Change of Address) processing.
- Presorting to optimize postage discounts.
- USPS Compliance & Reporting: Generate accurate USPS documentation (Postage Statements, Qualification Reports, Mail.dat files) and ensure all mail pieces are prepared, sorted, and trayed/sacked in strict accordance with current postal regulations.
- Variable Data Integration: Prepare and output finalized, compliant data files for our digital printing department to use in Variable Data Printing (VDP) workflows.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct final audits of mail files, address blocks, and postal reports to guarantee accuracy, data security, and efficient delivery.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3 years of professional experience dedicated to direct mail data processing and list management in a commercial print or service bureau environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data cleansing, manipulation, and standardization.
- Proven, hands-on experience operating commercial-grade mailing software for CASS, NCOA, and full postal presorting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current USPS regulations, mail classification standards, and intelligent mail barcode (IMb) requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization skills, and an understanding of data security best practices.
