The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for driving company growth by managing customer relationships, preparing quotes, coordinating sales-related projects, and [in the future] supporting new business development initiatives. This role is primarily inside sales focused, interacting with customers via email, phone, and virtual meetings while collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate orders and excellent service.
As the business continues to grow, the role may gradually take on outside sales and account development responsibilities, including client visits and territory expansion initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities
Inside Sales & Account Development:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming sales inquiries, quotes, and customer requests.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients to promote repeat business and account growth.
• Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding customer utilization of GIS products and services.
• Conduct proactive outreach, follow up on leads, and support marketing-driven campaigns.
Quoting & Pricing:
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotes based on customer specifications and project requirements.
• Communicate pricing, terms, and service options clearly and professionally.
• Maintain awareness of market and competitor pricing to support strategic quoting.
Customer Service:
• Provide exceptional customer support by responding promptly to client questions, order updates, and project-related concerns.
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate products and services based on their needs.
• Coordinate with Production, Data, Shipping, and Customer Service teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of all projects.
Project Management (Sales-Focused):
• Oversee sales-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring customer expectations, deadlines, and deliverables are met.
• Monitor project timelines, troubleshoot issues, and communicate updates to both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all order details, specifications, and approvals are captured accurately.
Product & Inventory Knowledge:
• Maintain a strong understanding of GIS product offerings, printing capabilities, and inventory availability.
• Provide informed recommendations to customers based on product capabilities, lead times, and available materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams regarding inventory needs and changes in product availability.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in sales, inside sales, customer service, or account management.
- Management experience is preferred
- Experience in the printing, labeling, or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and basic project management tools.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Base annual salary $ 60,000 - 80,000 (depending on experience)
- Annual Bonus will be based on the total sales amount per year
