Job Summary:
Heath Family Brands seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our logistics team. This role is responsible for performing both manual and clerical duties to ensure efficient handling of incoming and outgoing materials, supplies, and finished products. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a warehouse environment, operating material handling equipment, and assisting with a variety of inventory and packaging projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and pack goods for shipment
- Load and unload delivery vehicles
- Unpack, count, and verify received goods
- Route materials to appropriate departments (inspection, storage, etc.)
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
- Support special projects including labeling, foiling, marking, packaging, and inventory tasks
- Use hand tools and operate equipment such as forklifts, skids, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Operate company vehicle to pick up or deliver materials locally (if applicable)
- Fulfill customer orders and provide basic customer service for eCommerce operations
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for driving duties)
- Ability to lift 15–50 pounds regularly
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Basic computer and record-keeping skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work under close supervision and follow standard procedures
Work Environment:
This position involves physical work in a warehouse environment, including frequent lifting, standing, and operating machinery. PPE may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
