What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Marching Band Director (26-27) position at GRANVILLE HIGH SCHOOL?
The Granville High School Marching Band is hiring an assistant band director. This is a part time supplemental position with a salary range between $3,761-$8,462 for the season, depending on experience This person will be expected to attend summer rehearsals, after-school practices, performances and games. Responsibilities will include running/assisting with music rehearsals, sectionals, marching technique, and administrative tasks. The GHS Marching Band is a show-style band with approximately 130 members.
Applicants do not have to be currently affiliated with a school, and qualifications may vary. Desired qualifications would include a degree in music or at least strong musical training. However, any applicant with musical background and/or marching band experience may apply.

The position listed above is a Supplemental/Pupil Activity contract in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 3319.08 (Supplemental), 3313.53 (Pupil Activity), and the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Granville Exempted Village Schools Board of Education and the Granville Education Association, Article 20.

Salary : $3,761 - $8,462
